Travis Tae Oh is a Ph.D. Candidate in Marketing at Columbia University Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining Columbia, Travis worked in the industry as a market research analyst, was involved in multiple start-ups, and held other positions in the consumer services sector. Travis's dissertation in-progress looks into the psychology of “fun” as a distinct construct, with a focus on investigating the underlying psychological drivers of fun through mixed methods. More broadly, his research interests span across a number of motivational and affective phenomena such as curiosity, creativity, and happiness. In his spare time, Travis enjoys learning new languages, dining and travelling, but most importantly, having fun with his two young kids.
